True. IMO, if you analyze patterns with Card Collecting hobbies historically. A TON of the top tier cards in older mature branches of card collecting such as Baseball, Basketball, Football etc. initially weren’t considered Tier 1 at the beginning of the hobby. Most times they weren’t even considered a “must have” in any serious collectors PC. It seems that when the other card hobbies matured, big money came into the hobby and when the “whales” completed the majority of more easily accessible cards and sets, they seem to then start entertaining the historically significant, the firsts, the fewest, niche, etc. At that time is when the Extremely rare, historically significant and earliest variants tend to skyrocket in value regardless of their cosmetic appeal or at times even conditions. BTW, I’m not stating what I want nor what I believe should happen. I’m merely noticing trends in other similar but much older established card collecting hobbies. 
the tmb exeggutor also seems to have not done much since 2024 coz hardly anyone can tell the difference including the grading companies

It’s a very rare card and you need to have an above average knowledge of the hobby to appreciate it. Still needed for every Team Rocket master set but I guess most set collectors are not that hardcore.
